As a general rule I do not recommend companies that I hire to do a job as there is an expectation that they will perform to accepted norms established when they are hired. Based on the performance of Faith Parks, a former team member, I brought Margaret Melville and her group on to handle the sale of an estate property. Living in Washington State and selling in California comes with its own set of unique challenges. Margaret, with Stacy Gwiazdon and the rest of her team went over and above my expectations in the preparation of the property, listing and working with potential buyers to achieve a rapid sale and coordinating the documentation signature process to close the sale. Their efforts led to three offers on the property within two weeks. In addition, there were several third party (HOA) issues that they aided me in addressing and closing to the satisfaction of myself and the ultimate buyer. Due to constraints by both the buyer and myself, Margaret was on the phone well past normal working hours to ensure that I understood what was happening. For months and months in 2009-2010, I had had several Realtors, attempting to sell my lovely home in the College Greens area and each were unsuccessful, probably due to the market at that time. I decided to rent my home and after about 12 months, I once again decided to put my home up on the market.
